About the journal

A history journal built on verifiable sources

Indian Reformers publishes biographies, themed essays, and primary-source commentary on the people and movements that shaped India. Every claim is checked against cited material, and readers can tell us when something needs correcting.

Editorial standards

How we verify what we publish

No invented quotations. No unsupported claims. Every biography, article, and image credit is traced to a named primary or scholarly source before it goes live.

Claims

Each factual statement is linked to a citation. Where sources disagree, we present the disagreement rather than choosing a side silently.

Image rights

Portraits are used only when the rights status and attribution are verified as public domain or licensed for reuse. Each credit names the archive or holder.

Drafts and corrections

Drafts remain unpublished until review is complete. Published corrections are dated and recorded, and we welcome primary citations from readers.
